Tips on Food Presentation for Kiddie Parties

The word cheerful always comes to mind when we think of kiddie parties. It is always associated with games, clowns, cakes, gifts and delightful foods. When we talk of foods for kiddie parties, it does not have to be fancy or exotic. In fact, it does not have to be too difficult to prepare. You can come up with simple but tasteful foods through vast cooking tips online.

Instead of looking for expensive recipes, prepare for the simple but mouthwatering foods. It we are talking about kiddie parties, you have to work on the quantities of menus to serve to the guests. It is better to lessen sugary foods. Just make sure that your presentation is superb. When preparing foods for children, presentation is everything. The foods should be delightful to the eyes. But then, make sure that you add value to the food. Make it look great and healthy at the same time.

The primary factor to consider is the color of the food. It should be lively. A colorful presentation will surely capture the attention of the children. You can add the color of your side dish to the theme of the party. For instance: If your theme is Jungle Party, you can add green, yellow, brown colors in the foods. You can also use a serving platter with a lively color. Or use serving platter with a color that can be associated to the theme of the party.

You can be creative by adding cup cake, muffins and others. Other ideal foods for kiddie parties are dried fruit, chocolate chips, chicken fingers, potato wedges, spaghetti mixed with liver spread and crackers. You can also prepare a cabbage and embed hotdog on the stick. Include marshmallows on the stick with the hotdog.

You can also slice your sandwich into an alphabet cookie cutter to make it more appealing to the children. Make sure you cut the foods in bite sizes. That way, if your kids would not be able to finish one stick, foods will not be wasted.

Here is one recipe for you. Prepare cabbage rolls. You will need a one whole cabbage, ground beef, bread crumbs, salad dressing and a seasoning. Mix the ground beef, salad dressing and your seasoning. Then, wash the cabbage. Remove each layer of its leaves. Put two spoonful of meat on each cabbage leaf. Roll and put in an oven. Set your oven in 350 degrees temp.

Another delightful food that you can prepare is the bread recipe. You will need a spaghetti meat sauce; half cut of grated cheese and bread, egg, 1/3 cup of flour, parsley and grated cheese. You can start by melting the flour with water. Then add 1/3 cup of spaghetti sauce. Mix it well until it is well blended. Then add the egg, parsley and gated cheese. Plunge your bread into the mixture and fry it until it turned brown. The mixture should be simmered until cheese liquefies. You now have your bread recipe with its dip.

Again, when making food for kiddie’s parties, your objective should be the presentation of your food. However, nutrition should not be compromised. You can always prepare healthy foods and present them is a delightful manner.
