You can watch baseball with your kids. Watch it in the sports channel. If there is a scheduled baseball game in your locale, take the time and enjoy the game. Or better yet, you can play baseball with your kids. This is also a good way of spending quality time with your family.

And no one can forget the fireworks. On certain occasions it is sold for family use. But then, there are also public shows of fireworks display. It is held in the evening in the town squares, play ground and in the parks. Fireworks are often accompanied by the national anthem.

A one gun salute is also fired in the afternoon of Independence Day. This is held in the military base in each of the 50 states of the United States of America.
