Tips and Ideas for a Fesitve Fourth of July

Summer is filled with so many occasions to celebrate! The beautiful weather, good company and a great theme make hosting an outdoor summer party simple and fun. Have you started planning your July 4th celebration? Now is the time to get prepared to have a festive Stars and Stripes party. These tips and ideas will help you put together a flawless and festive Fourth of July party!

The good news is that choosing a theme for a Fourth of July party is the easy part of your job! To make your busy life easier Our Stars and Stripes Party Box comes with everything you need to prepare a fantastic party! Included in this party box are stars and stripes paper goods, red and blue acrylic cups, balloons, patriotic confetti and more. Also included are miniature American flags to decorate your backyard! The Stars and Stripes Party Box can help you create the perfect foundation for your party!

Once you have plenty of red, white and blue decorations adorning your party location you will need to consider the menu! Many Fourth of July parties are back yard barbeques and the standard menu is burgers and hot dogs on the grill. Other fun and yummy main party dishes include veggie kabobs, grilled chicken and fish! Your guests will be looking forward to many summer barbeque staples so make sure to include favorite side dishes like corn on the cob, a crisp green salad and other favorites.

Make a delicious dessert that will not only satisfy your guests but become a party decoration! Get creative and use halved strawberries and blueberries to make a flag on top of a cake frosted with white icing! Line halved strawberries in horizontal rows across the cake a few inches apart to make the stripes. Use blueberries on the top left corner to make the stars! Your guests will love this delicious and adorable cake.

Entertainment can be what makes any party successful! If your guests are active, put together a backyard volleyball game! Have your guests split in two teams; one red team and one blue team to fit within the stars and stripes them. Other popular summer games include horse shoe and croquet. If it fits within your budget hire a DJ to play some tunes throughout the day. Your party guests are sure to enjoy a little dancing. Of course, the best entertainment of all is good company so be certain to invite great friends and family!

The Fourth of July is the ideal time to host a summer barbeque with a fun theme! Red, white and blue decorations, delicious treats and entertainment can turn a basic barbeque in to an incredible occasion! A stars and stripes themed party is easy to elaborate on; you will not be challenged at all to find additional decorations or party favors! Show your American pride and enjoy an afternoon with friends this Fourth of July.

What a neat idea! Using strawberries and blueberries to make a flag...I wish I had thought of that myself! My father will be having his 64th birthday on July 3 but we will be celebrating i on the 4th with fireworks and brisket...but I think a surprise birthday cake from me is in order!
